Scottsdale has a wide variety of homes, ranging from 1 and 2 bedroom condos (starting at about $125K) and small single family homes (starting at about $200K), all the way up to multi-million dollar mansions and luxury condos.

Scottsdale Residential Communities (click name for more information):

Stonegate, located in North-Central Scottsdale, offers many different varieties of housing in its different suburban neighborhoods. Click on their website, and then click on the name of a neighborhood to view a slide show featuring typical homes and amenities. Patio homes start at $350K, and single family homes start at $500K.

Scottsdale Mountain, located in the foothills of the McDowell Mountain Preserve in North-Central Scottsdale, offers desert living and great views of Scottsdale and Phoenix. Scottsdale Mountain offers a wide variety of housing choices.

Bellasera, in North Scottsdale, features lots of open desert space in a suburban environment. It includes 360 homes and homesites starting at about $400K.

Kierland Commons is a planned residential / office / shopping development in this "urban" center in North Scottsdale. Kierland features many fine restaurants and shops, and is adjacent to the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, and 27 holes of championship Kierland Golf. Within Kierland Commons, The Plaza Lofts are luxury residences that overlook all the action. The first 30 units are already sold out. The next 55 units are due to begin construction in the Spring, 2006.

Portales Place is a development of 143 luxury garden-style condos in an urban setting. Portales Place is located on the north edge of Central Scottsdale, next to Scottsdale Fashion Square, and within walking distance of the Scottsdale Waterfront, the Fifth Avenue Shops, and Old Town Scottsdale. Units start at about $900K.

X Lofts ("Ten" Lofts) is a development of 82 Loft-style residences, located on the south edge of Central Scottsdale. It is adjacent to the world-class Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital, and just a short walk to more than 75 restaurants and 70 art galleries.

Scottsdale Golf Communities (click name for more information):

DC Ranch is one of the hot new places to live in North Scottsdale. It features 2 world-class golf courses, both with clubhouses with all the amenities, including a Spa at the Silverleaf. DC Ranch has a commercial district which includes some great restaurants: Eddie V's (seafood and steaks), Fleming's (steaks), Flo's Hong Kong (Chinese), and the Blue Wasabi Sushi and Martini Bar. Homes in DC Ranch start at $500K.

Grayhawk is another excellent golf community in North Scottsdale. It also features 2 world-class golf courses (Talon and Raptor), and has a clubhouse that features Phil's Grille (named after Phil Mickelson.) Grayhawk has townhomes and condos starting in the low $200Ks, and single family homes starting at $400K.

Ancala is located in North-Central Scottsdale, nestled in the McDowell Mountain foothills. It features one golf course and a full-service clubhouse. Ancala has more than 500 homes / homesites. Homes start at $650K.

Desert Highlands, in North Scottsdale, has more than 500 homes / homesites. Homes start at $900K; homesites (lots) start at $500K. Take a video tour of Desert Highlands at their web site.

Troon has 2 golf courses and 15 sub-divisions, offering a wide variety of choices. Townhomes start at $250K, and single-family homes start at $300K.

Estancia is a very "high end" community with one golf course and only 223 custom home sites. Homesites (lots) start at $300K, and homes start at $1.1 Million.
