Arizona Overview

People love to live in Arizona. That's why Arizona has grown so much in the last 20 years. With a combination of great weather (an average of 330 days of sunshine every year), a strong economy, lots of recreational activities, and affordable housing, it's no wonder why so many people are moving to Arizona. And Arizona Real Estate has proven to be one of the best investments you can ever make.
Arizona is a very diverse state. The far north features world-famous tourist attractions such as the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Canyon de Chelly. The north-central region is dominated by green pine forests and beautiful high country. It's perfect for camping, hiking, boating, fishing, hunting, or just touring. This region has a number of interesting cities, including Flagstaff, Sedona (and Oak Creek Canyon), Prescott, and Jerome. The southern part of the state is Sonoran Desert and includes the Phoenix Metroplex and the City of Tucson. The Sonoran Desert is another of our great natural wonders, featuring thousands of majestic Saguaro cactus and many other varieties of desert flora. This region also includes some interesting "Old West" style cities, including Tombstone and Bisbee. And finally, if you really like to travel, Arizona is just a short flight (or a one-day drive) from Mexico (Tijuana, Nogales, and the beaches at Rocky Point) and our neighboring states (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico).
There's plenty to do in Arizona. If you're a Golf enthusiast, there are more than 300 courses in the state. Interested in Gambling? There are a wide variety of stand-alone Casinos and Casino Resorts in the state. Like the Outdoors? There are hundreds of recreational facilities throughout the state.
Arizona's growth has been driven by tourism, health-care, and high-technology industries. This growth has in turn driven a vibrant construction industry (both residential and commercial.) But the people of Arizona have been careful not to let "growth" get out of hand. Arizona has been careful in managing its water supplies, and the state is a net supplier of electrical power (to other states.)
